This poor turtle was ran over by a lawn mower and Dr. Liz Lovett made her a new shell. She will have to be a pet for the next few years while her shell heals, then she will be released back into the wild. Good Job Liz!

This unbelievable awesome Labrador Retriever, "Willie," aka Mintzi is currently up for adoption with Amy-Z-Ark Rescue. Willie is the best dog! He is well behaved, knows how to sit and lay down, rides in the car well, likes other dogs, small children, and cats. He is the total package! His picture does not do him justice! His eye removal was a success and he is healing wonderfully.

All three puppies were transported to New England with the help of Amy-Z-Ark Rescue to their forever homes.

The yard sale was a success!

Thanks to everyone who volunteered for the yard sale and to everyone who attended! We raised around $1200 and adopted out three pets out of five. And a special THANKS to Tom & Susan Lloyd who hosted a wonderful cookout after the yard sale.

Maggie Mae Fund Yard Sale

We are having our annual Maggie Mae Yard Sale on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 8am-3pm. The yard sale will be at the old Greenlife Grocery Store (1100 Hixson Pike 37405). We need lots of good quality yard sale items to be donated for the sale, we need volunteers, and we need donations! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
